Q. Why do they say impossible?
A. That women do not have control over their reproductive function is a mindset that has been with us for a very long long time. I got that message when I was young. Impossible. Well its not impossible.
Impossible, they say. Nonsense, I say. Mindsets are carved in stone. Are difficult to break out of. Going against a mindset is a revelation. One walks around in a daze. In amazement. Pondering. Why? When its so simple, logical even. And so beautiful.
Only a great intelligence could have thought of such a thing.
Q. Why does sex bring on the menstrual cycle?
A. Why gives us a choice. For if we have a choice we can produce quality instead of quantity. Why do you think women have this capability?
Q. Side effects?
A. A side effect of the BCT is that it will make your sex life better.
If I were to present the BCT as a way to "improve your sex life", I would then say and a side effect is, "it can be used for birth control".
How does experiencing the BCT over time improve your sex life you might ask? I would say by becoming aware of the subtlety of being a woman, of the subtlety of the internal reaction to doing the meditation technique itself.
Q. My period came two weeks early. Why?
A. Intercourse can cause the menstrual period to begin. Contractions of the uterus are central to the vaginal orgasm and it is these contractions that will cause the menstrual period to begin. Sexual intercourse can be used for birth control. The birth control technique presented in this book, Woman Power, creates a vaginal orgasm using a meditation technique.
A really good source for questions regarding the menstrual cycle are two books by John R. Lee, M.D., "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause," and "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause." Also: www.johnleemd.com
Q. How do I induce my menstrual cycle?
A. With the "birth control technique" a woman can cause her menstrual period to begin anytime after ovulation. This is dealt with in my book Woman Power. Try it. You may be amazed at the ease with which this is done.
Q. How to induce abortion through intercourse.
A. See above.
Q. How to increase sexual capabilities through yoga and exercise.
A. A good reference is the book, "Sex and Yoga" by Michael Volin and Nancy Phelan which is available on Amazon.com.
Yoga Journal, a magazine, may lead to other resourses.
Q. mulabanda.
A. The "Aswini-mudra", if not the same can be used as such. See pages 85 and 118 of "Sex and Yoga" by Michael Volin and Nancy Phelan referenced above. And is the same exercise I was given by the nurse in the hospital after the birth of my first child.
Looking through the lense of hindsight I can see that the exercises in the above book contributed in large measure to the BCT.
Q. Bio Meditation, Jack Garris.
A. The Bio-Meditation Society continues the work of Jack Gariss. They may be reached at Bio-Meditation Society, PO Box 370157, Reseda CA 91335 or (818)885-9677. A catalogue is available.
Q. Can sex bring on your menstrual period?
A. Yes!
Q. What is Woman Power?
A. In this instance, as put forth in the book available here, it is controlling a very important aspect of your life. When a woman learns how to do this birth control technique, she can decide for herself when, if, and how many children she wants to bring into the world. Literally.
Q. Mind power of a woman?
A. The mind of a woman connects to the infinite. Mind power of woman is the feminine energy of the universe. The mind of a woman connects directly with these forces. In knowing this we can conscioulsy use the intuitive insights and creativity that come. It is through the right hemisphere, or the non-dominant side of the brain that one connects with the divine female, the infinite. Mind power is learning how to let the intuitive, creative, come into one's consciousness. And to accept it as real, as necessary as living, as part of being human.
Q. What birth control was used in the 1950's?
A. Condoms. Rhythm Method. Various spermicidal jams and jellies. The Diaphram. Chance. The Rhythm method is knowing when ovulation occurs and abstaining from intercourse at that time.
Q. Medicine for the tightening of a woman's sex organ.
A. Try excercises in the book "Sex and Yoga" referenced above.
Q. Yoga postures for a retroverted uterus / yoga / bladder / tipped uterus.
A. Try the postures in the "Sex and Yoga" book referenced above.
Q. Controlling pregnancy without contraception.
A. Try the birth control technique presented in the book, Woman Power.
Q. Illustrations of breathing techniques during labor.
A. I have often wondered if the "birth control technique" presented here would facilitate labor, making for an easier birth process. I would like to hear about it if anyone does use it for that purpose.
Q. Every time I try to conceive I get my menstrual period the following day. Why?
A. A woman has the ability to have two different kinds of orgasms. A clitoral orgasm and a vaginal orgasm. Central to the vaginal orgasm are contractions of the uterus. These contractions will cause the menstrual period to begin and to abort if conception has taken place. The clitoral orgasm is different. I would suggest experimenting a bit and notice the difference. Then use only the clitoral orgasm when you want to get pregnant. See what happens.
Q. Involuntary tightening of stomach muscles while pregnant.
A. My experiences and some thoughts about those experiences: I saw this as a great big all over hug of the baby. And perhaps a loving massage from the top of its head to the tips of its toes. Intuitively I realized that this was part of the preparation for the birth process, on two fronts. One, for the baby to have the experience of being squeezed periodically so that the birth when it comes would not be a sudden, unknown and perhaps traumatic event. And two, to tone up the unterine muscle itself in preparation for the birth process.
Q. ? ? ? ? ?
A. A mindblowing and startling conclusion I have come to through my experiences with the BCT is that birth control is one function of sexual intercourse.
And this technique teaches one how to do that and over time will also improve one's sex life. Women can have a deciding hand in their own sexual pleasures, one that is not entirely placed on men's expertise as lovers, but is a matter of intimate awareness of the self and the body.
The question is, are we lemmings running off into the sea with regards to population numbers, or do we rationally control ourselves?
